NEW YORK & HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Moelis & Company today announced its plans to establish a new office in Houston focused on serving clients in the oil and gas industry as well as other companies based in the region. The firm also announced the appointment of Brady Parish as a Managing Director who will play a key role in Moelis & Company’s expansion into Houston and in the build-out of its oil and gas client coverage effort. The Houston office, which is expected to open in April, will be Moelis & Company’s ninth office globally and follows its recent expansion into Asia and the Middle East.

Mr. Parish has nearly 20 years of investment banking and business development experience predominantly focused on the oil and gas sector. Over the course of his career, he has advised some of the largest oil and gas companies on critical strategic matters, including numerous mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Mr. Parish was most recently a Managing Director in the Global Natural Resources Group at Goldman Sachs in Houston where he helped lead the oil and gas investment banking effort and was a member of the Merger Leadership Group. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2005, Mr. Parish was a Director in the Global Energy and Power Group at Merrill Lynch and previously worked in the Energy Investment Banking Group at JP Morgan. Mr. Parish began his career in Houston in 1988.
